Matt Hill announced today the 2021-2022 competition for the Fighting Scots, who are slated to kick the season off Oct. 29 in the home wrestle-offs.

Highlights
- Wrestle-Offs will be a tournament setting with two mats running
- Overall, the Fighting Scots will have 10 home events with 5 home events in February
- Edinboro kicks off the official schedule at the Michigan State Open which features multiple Big Ten teams. This open event has two separate divisions with the freshman/sophomore division and the open division. This process allows younger wrestlers to get more match experience and helps experienced athletes face starting wrestlers from other teams.
- Edinboro hosts ACC opponent Pitt (Top 15 Team) on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m.
- Dec. 3 Edinboro participates in the Tri-Dual, hosting Buffalo University and Gannon. The dual format will overlap with teams wrestling two matches at the same time.
- Ken Kraft Midland Champions in Chicago, IL (10 wrestlers)
- MAC Championships are in Athens, OH
- NCAA Championships at Detroit, MI

"This schedule is a great mix of tournament setting and dual meet competition. Our team potentially will have some very young faces in the line-up with a few veterans to lead the way. My favorite thing about our schedule this coming season is the amount of home events we house, from wrestle-off to our annual college open we will have 10 events on campus this season. It will be great to have fans back in McComb Fieldhouse cheering on the Fighting Scots, It's been long overdue and the community is ready to see our guys complete and wrestle in McComb. I'm looking for a lot of effort and passion out of this group this season and extremely excited for our Wrestle-Offs on Oct. 29."
2021-2022 Wrestling Season Tickets
Includes:
One (1) season ticket – Includes general admission to all regularly scheduled home wrestling events, including dual matches and tournaments, held at Edinboro University. Does not include any postseason, off-campus or championship events. Orders for season tickets must be placed prior to Nov. 8.
