Cooper went 4-0 in Park City, KS with three falls and a tech fall. This marks the best finish in Cooper's career at an open tournament.
Ranked #3 in the 170-weight class, Cooper wrestled up, but showed moving up was no problem for the sophomore. Cooper rattled off three falls in a row to open the tournament. Within those matches, the Cerritos, CA native pinned her opponents quicker and quicker with her final pin at 40 seconds, the second fastest of her career.
